Wounds
This performance was born in the days when Kabul fell, when Afghan women and girls were stripped of their right to learn, yet still walked into the streets carrying resistance in their bare hands. Beyond the border, in Iran, women also rose and stepped into the fire, standing face to face with the devil to fight for their dignity, their freedom, their voices. Wounds is the scar carved into our bodies — bodies separated by borders, yet bound by the same pain. It is the echo of women who bleed in different lands but dream the same dream: a future brighter than fear, a life beyond silence, and a freedom worth fighting for.
