Birth at Ground Zero
Puppet theatre built from the real 2020 attack on the Dasht-e-Barchi maternity ward in Kabul, where nearly 24 people — mostly birthing women and newborns — were killed. Follows Nilufar, who gives birth in the middle of the attack, on a white cloth screen where shadow and light carry what words cannot.
